Hello and WELCOME! I'm so happy to get to play along with so many creative stampers in the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop this month. This month's challenge was a new sketch, still my favorite type of challenge! It's always fun to see how many different ways a single sketch can be interpreted. I often revisit the sketches when creating new cards with new stamping supplies.
For this card I wanted to use a new stamp set, Embraced with Love. Looking at the flowers the kangaroo was holding, I immediately thought of the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper. This is just perfect! I love that Stampin' Up! is so great about creating products that coordinate, not just with other new things, but also with older products.
There was a bonus for me with getting to use this DSP, it allowed me to used one of my favorite color combinations...Highland Heather and Shaded Spruce! I love these colors so much I'm thinking about redoing our bedroom with similar colors...one day.
