Stampin' Up! Greetings of the Season ~ Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog!  I’m so happy to be joining the Stamping Inspirations Blog Hop today.  I love being a part of these fun Blog Hops with other stampers sharing what we love and create!  Links to all the other blog posts for this hop are near the end of this post - be sure to check them out!  Hopefully you will be as inspired as I always am seeing what everyone else creates for this month’s challenge.

This month we had 3 photos to choose from for our color inspiration!  WOW!  They were all great with beautiful color combinations.  So, the first bit of the challenge was deciding which color combination to create with!  After thinking it about it for a bit, I decided to go with the photo and colors shown below.

These colors, from left to right, are Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Real Red, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie.  I was excited at how effortless it was to include all of these colors in my card.

For the sentiments, which I used as the focal piece of my card, I used the new Greetings of the Season Bundle, which includes this great sentiment stamp set and tags and banners perfectly sized for the sentiments.  The Iconic Imagery bundle (& coordinating Designer Series Paper) were used for the background and stamped tree image.

The tree is a two-step stamp.  I used Granny Apple Green to stamp the first layer, then Garden Green for the second layer.  After stamping, the coordinating punch was used to cut the trees out.

For my touch of Crumb Cake, I tied a bit of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine to the ribbon at the top of the tag.

Both bundles, Greetings of the Season and Iconic Imagery are Online Exclusives.  This means you won’t find them in any catalog, but can find them in the online store.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!  Be sure to hop along to the other posts by clicking the ‘Next Blog’ box at the end of each post.  (You can also click one of the names listed.)

Happy Stamping!
