Stampin' Up! Share a Milkshake ~ Birthday Card

This is my final, and maybe (just maybe) favorite card featuring Share a Milkshake stamps by Stampin' Up!  Once again, I have used Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper as my background piece.  I just love all the, well, bright & beautiful colors in this set of patterned paper.

I kept most of this card flat, but did pop up the ice cream and bowl with a few Stampin' Dimensionals.  I recommend either using a Mini Stampin' Dimensional for the base of the bowl, or you can cut a normal dimensional in half for that part.  I have done both, depending on what I had handy at the time. 

This fancy 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is another one from Stampin' Up!'s Go to Greetings stamp set.  I love a sentiment that is both full of flourishes and easy to read!

Here's another sweet & simple card with my favorite stamping trio this week ~ Share a Milkshake stamp set, Go To Greetings stamp set and Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper. 

With these fun colors and sweet stamps, it couldn't be easier to create quick and beautiful birthday cards!  I love the way the die for the ice cream cuts a slit just perfect for the straw/spoon!

This card is one I made while Mystery Stamping with my Team on Zoom!  Unfortunately, I didn't get photos of my team's cards this time, but I assure you, they were all great and every one was unique!

Stampin' Up! Share a Milkshake ~ Go to Greetings

 

Hi there!  I have been sharing cards created with Stampin' Up!'s Share a Milkshake stamps and Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper all month.  Today, I'm adding another stamp set, Go to Greetings!  These two stamp sets are so great together!

The milkshakes were stamped with the 'two-step' stamping technique.  Back in the day, when stamps were all mounted on wood blocks, two-step stamping seemed a little more complicated.  Now, Photopolymer Stamps (which you can see through) on Clear Blocks make this a quick and simple stamping technique with no special tools required!

Stampin' Up! Share a Milkshake ~ Cherry On Top

 

Today I'm sharing with you the final card in my Share a Milkshake Class to Go.  This card has more pieces than my usual cards, but don't let that intimidate you!  It's still pretty simple and not at all difficult to stamp and assemble. 

I've also used one of my favorite techniques on this card... masking!  It's so easy to do and can really create a WOW on any card!  Then sometimes, it's so subtle, you don't even realize a technique has been used.  If you are unfamiliar with this technique, be sure to watch my Share a Milkshake Class Tutorial on YouTube.  (It's available for anyone to watch)

Stampin' Up! Share a Milkshake ~ Life is Sweeter

This 'sweet' card is the 2nd I created for my Share a Milkshake Class to Go.

I don't often have the chance to eat strawberry cake, but I do so enjoy a Strawberry Milkshake!  This card makes me want to head to our local Malt Shop for a yummy shake date night with my hubby, who always makes my life sweeter!

In my opinion, simple card layouts like this one are still often the best!  Card making and paper crafting doesn't have to be complicated or take hours.

Stampin' Up! Share a Milkshake ~ Celebrate!

 

This fun card is the first in my new Share a Milkshake Class to Go!  

This happy card is quick and easy to assemble with very little actual stamping. 

Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper is my DSP of choice for this card, and in fact, for the entire Class to Go.  I love the cheerful colors and designs in this package of DSP, so chose a few for the class color scheme... 

Maybe I should say for my MAIN class colors.  I did throw some other colors in here and there.  For instance, this card also features Fresh Freesia Cardstock and the waffle cone was die cut from Pecan Pie Cardstock.
