Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries ~ Casually Crafting Blog Hop

 

Hey there!  Thanks for stopping by!  Today I'm taking part in a blog hop with the Casually Crafting Design Team!  We are an international group of Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who want to share our take on casual crafting.  We will share what we love with you monthly.  Be sure to check out the rests of the design team's projects using the links at the bottom of this post.

This month we have a Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  There's so many great options in this one!  

I Tic-Tac-Toe'd Diagonally this time!  So, from bottom left to top right, I used yellow, neutral and blue on my card.  

I'll be honest with y'all.  I straight up CASE'd this card from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog this time.  I went with a CASE for a couple of reasons.  Maybe three.  My all time favorite place for inspiration is Stampin' Up!'s catalogs.  I haven't had this set long, so haven't had time to CASE the cards in the catalog featuring this set (ahem, until this week).  It's been crazy busy around here this month and my creative mojo needed a bit of a jumpstart (I actually made this card Monday!)  AND, it was a great opportunity to use some new colors and fit the Tic Tac Challenge perfectly.  Enough with excuses, let me show you what I changed...

First up, I changed the colors!  The original colors used on this card were

Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party & Crumb Cake

I decided to change all that up and even threw in some NEW colors from the upcoming 2023-2024 Annual Catalog, which will be LIVE May 2nd!  Isn't this a gorgeous color combination!? I can't wait for you to see all of the other colors in Stampin' Up!'s upcoming Color Refresh!

The final change I made was simply the addition of some Glossy Dots.  Sometimes I add bling to cover up mistakes. haha.  This time, they just fit the fun theme of the card!
