I'm beginning this week with a sweet birthday card featuring Sweetest Cherries stamps and CASE'd right from the catalog! CASE has two definitions, the first is to Copy & Share Everything. The 2nd definition is what I did here, which is to Copy & Selectively Edit (technically, I guess I did both here).
When you look this card up on p. 19 of the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog, you can see right off the bat that the first thing I 'edited' was that this was originally a Peekaboo Treat Bag, not a card.
Next, I decided to make my own Designer Series Paper, instead of using the Awash in Beauty DSP and Brights DSP that were used in the catalog. I stamped the small flowers from Petal Park stamps with Flirty Flamingo ink to create the Flirty Flamingo piece attached to the tag. I then stamped the background stamp from Sweetest Cherries, again with Flirty Flamingo ink, to create the piece just behind the cherries and 'sweet'.
The original colors are in the photo above on the left.
The next color combination is the one that I chose to use.
That Coastal Cabana ink? I used a Blending Brush to apply it to my ribbon to give it a hint of color. This is a great way to have ribbon in any color to match your project!
