With the current catalog retiring soon and the new one not quite ready to begin, now is the time of year I find myself most wanting to use up my Designer Series Paper scraps! Thankfully, this card layout is perfect for just that, and is also perfect for using with Color & Contour stamps by Stampin' Up!
For this card, I decided to use Versamark to stamp my image on or Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and heat emboss it with Basic White Embossing Powder. Then, I got to watercolor the image with colors that matched my chosen DSP scraps. For this one, I went with Blackberry Bliss and Shaded Spruce. These colors are beautiful when stamped, but I think they are even prettier when used to watercolor!
Of course, I finished this card with a few Brushed Brass Butterflies, my favorite way to complete a card!
