This is the final card in my He's All That Class to Go. It's so easy to make great masculine cards with the He's All That stamps and coordinating All That Dies! Of course, the Basics 3D Embossing Folders help to kick it up a notch, too.
After adhering the die cut to my embossed piece, I carefully cut off the edge to make it nice and straight with the larger piece. The Linen Thread double bow and Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots (love these!) were the perfect finishing touches to this masculine card.

Today's card features Stampin' Up!'s He's All That stamps and a couple of the brand new, upcoming In Colors! The ink, cardstock and designer series paper used on this card will all be available Tuesday, May 2nd! That's when Stampin' Up!'s new catalog will be released, which means there's only a few days left to shop the retiring items from the current catalog.
OOPS. I got sidetracked about the catalogs...what I really wanted to tell you about is these new colors! Pebbled Path and Boho Blue are two of my favorite new In Colors. In fact, they are probably going to be my favorite In Colors for 2023-2025. I'm already needing to order more cardstock in both colors, and they haven't even been officially released to customers yet!
I'm also very excited about the 6"x6" Designer Series Paper, available in all of Stampin' Up!'s color families. For this card, I chose to use the coordinating In Color 6"x6" DSP. This sheet with the little heart pattern is going to be popular, I think. But then, I think that about all the designs in this DSP! Oh. My. Goodness. Do you ever repeatedly call something by the wrong name? I've been doing that all week with my Stamp Set of the Week, He's All That. When this stamp set was originally released, it was part of a suite called He's the Man. So that's what I've been calling the stamp set. Mostly I've been catching myself, but not always!
Anyway, today's card is a fun one, featuring HE'S ALL THAT stamps (I almost typed it wrong, again)
I've also used all of the embossing folders from Basics Embossing Folders. Then, finished it off with a few Rustic Metallic Adhesive Dots. This is a simple, masculine card for any occasion.

It's been a while since I've focused on more masculine cards, so I am especially enjoying playing with this week's stamp set, He's All That. Today's card is a clean and simple birthday card, perfect for that car loving man in your life.
One of my favorite ways to use Blending Brushes is to add a soft background for my die cut image. In this case, I added a bit of Coastal Cabana ink to the center of the Basic White cardstock, gradually getting lighter as I reached the edges. Then, I placed my stamped and die cut image in the center of it with Stampin' Dimensionals. I also stamped the truck image in Coastal Cabana and fussy cut around it before placing it over the original stamped image.
Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots were the finishing touch to this card.

He's All That by Stampin' Up! is the stamp set I have chosen to play with all this week. This masculine stamp set is perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, Father's Day and more! My personal favorite is this stamp that says 'together for the long haul' and includes a van image with beach vibes.
To create the background, I used more of my paper scraps. When creating a background like this, it's nice to keep all the scraps the same size and space them evenly when attaching them to your background piece.
I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive, then stamped the van on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. After coloring it with Stampin' Blends, I fussy cut around it and attached it to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I created today's card for Sketch Saturday's Challenge #724. Today (April 22nd, 2023) is the first day of this challenge, you have two weeks to play along. There's an optional challenge of including a 'Monochrome Theme' on your card this time. I forgot about that optional challenge this time, so used lots of colors! Stampin' Up!'s Color & Contour stamp set is the set I've been playing with all week, so I kept that theme going with challenge, also! Earlier in the week I created a vertical card very similar to this one (funnily enough, that one is pretty much monochromatic. lol) I just think these flowers are perfect for layering all lined up and overlapping like this!
The bow detail is one that I intended to add to my card, then forgot that, too! I didn't even realize it until I was almost finished editing the pictures. I've decided it's okay without it, but might be adding a double bow later on. We'll see.

With the current catalog retiring soon and the new one not quite ready to begin, now is the time of year I find myself most wanting to use up my Designer Series Paper scraps! Thankfully, this card layout is perfect for just that, and is also perfect for using with Color & Contour stamps by Stampin' Up!
For this card, I decided to use Versamark to stamp my image on or Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and heat emboss it with Basic White Embossing Powder. Then, I got to watercolor the image with colors that matched my chosen DSP scraps. For this one, I went with Blackberry Bliss and Shaded Spruce. These colors are beautiful when stamped, but I think they are even prettier when used to watercolor!
Of course, I finished this card with a few Brushed Brass Butterflies, my favorite way to complete a card!
All the pretty patterned paper is one of my favorite things about paper crafting. In the past, I have even, possibly, hoarded my beautiful patterned paper a little. I just didn't want to waste it, and I didn't want to run out of it. Now I know better. I might not always be able to purchase the exact same patterned paper, but I will always be able to purchase new patterned paper, and it's much better to USE my paper than to hide it on a shelf or in a cabinet. PLUS, now I now I can stamp my own beautiful patterned paper!
This fun patterned paper was stamped using Color & Contour stamps with Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party inks. I love that I can make pretty paper backgrounds in whatever color scheme fits my mood and card for the day! To make this at home, first stamp the flowers, then go back and fill in the white spaces with the splatter stamp.
Inside this card, I finished out the sentiment and added a simple flower bud. I fussy cut the bud after stamping it, then glued it inside the card. But you can also just stamp it in your card so you don't have to fussy cut and glue.
This bright & clean card, featuring Color & Contour stamps by Stampin' Up!, is another that is really quick and easy to create. I'm loving the bright colors against clean white card.
First, I used the coordinating die from Scalloped Contours Dies to cut the shape from the top piece of cardstock. Then, I carefully stamped the image on the cardbase in the center of the empty space. Once I had stamped my image, I picked the top piece back up and embossed it with Painted Textures 3D Embossing Folder. Finally, I used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach it to the card base.
The sentiment piece was also die cut using Scalloped Contours Dies.
This sweet card is a perfect example of how easy it is to pair the images from Color & Contour with sentiments from pretty much any other stamp set. I especially love how perfect it is with this stamp from the Good Feelings stamp set, which is an all sentiment set.
This sentiment was stamped with Versamark ink, then Heat Embossed with White Embossing Powder. I've recently learned that once you emboss your first layer, you can keep adding embossing powder, heating, and adding, pretty much as long as your powder stays hot. (I usually stop after 3 layers) I'm pretty obsessed with this technique! It's especially great for thicker images, like 'mind' and 'heart' in this sentiment stamp.

The floral images in Color & Contour stamps by Stampin' Up! are simple line drawings with the option of using a second stamp to color in the the inside of the image. (we call this two-stamp stamping)
Actually, I usually prefer stamping the inside first, using a light color, then stamping the outline over it. For this card, I used Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape.
This gorgeous 'Happy Birthday' stamp is from Go to Greetings. After stamping the sentiment, I fussy cut around it with my handy Paper Snips. Thankfully, I used the coordinating die to cut out the flowers, so this card was really very quick to create!

This month we have a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. There's so many great options in this one!
I Tic-Tac-Toe'd Diagonally this time! So, from bottom left to top right, I used yellow, neutral and blue on my card.
I'll be honest with y'all. I straight up CASE'd this card from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog this time. I went with a CASE for a couple of reasons. Maybe three. My all time favorite place for inspiration is Stampin' Up!'s catalogs. I haven't had this set long, so haven't had time to CASE the cards in the catalog featuring this set (ahem, until this week). It's been crazy busy around here this month and my creative mojo needed a bit of a jumpstart (I actually made this card Monday!) AND, it was a great opportunity to use some new colors and fit the Tic Tac Challenge perfectly. Enough with excuses, let me show you what I changed...
First up, I changed the colors! The original colors used on this card were
Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party & Crumb Cake
I decided to change all that up and even threw in some NEW colors from the upcoming 2023-2024 Annual Catalog, which will be LIVE May 2nd! Isn't this a gorgeous color combination!? I can't wait for you to see all of the other colors in Stampin' Up!'s upcoming Color Refresh!
The final change I made was simply the addition of some Glossy Dots. Sometimes I add bling to cover up mistakes. haha. This time, they just fit the fun theme of the card!

This third and final card in my Sweetest Cherries Class to Go uses a couple of simple techniques that have been used on previous cards this week. In my Video Tutorial for this class, I shared two options for creating the stripes. I decided to go with the water color option in my video, which is what I used on Tuesday's card. For this one, I used the Stampin' Blend version.
Sponge Daubers make it SO easy to add a bit of shading to your punched pieces.
Brushed Brass Butterflies will forever and always be my favorite finishing touch to most any card.

This easy to make birthday card features Sweetest Cherries stamps by Stampin' Up! This versatile stamp set can be used for many types of cards, not just for birthdays! With the coordinating Cherry Builder Punch, you can stamp as much, or as little as you like!
To add a bit of texture to the leaves, I stamped the 'basketweave?' stamp on them, stamping off once on scrap paper before actually stamping on the leaves.
For the cherries, I used a Sponge Dauber to add a bit of color to give them some shading.
