Tuesday I posted a card with DIY 'designer series paper' as the main focus of the card. Today, I've again created DIY 'DSP', this time as the base of the card. I used Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to draw thick-ish lines diagonally across my card base. I wasn't worried at all about keeping them perfectly straight or uniform in width. I feel like this makes my card a little more whimsical and/or 'artsy'. It definitely makes each one like this one of a kind.
The tiny strip of ribbon behind the sentiment is just another added splash of color. I used my Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blend to color the ribbon before adding it to my card with about an inch of Tear & Tape.
