The beautiful photo below is our inspiration for this month, along with with gorgeous colors shown below, which include So Saffron, Sweet Sorbet, Tempting Turquoise, Orchid Oasis and Shaded Spruce. My Stamp Set of the Week this week is Thanks a Bunch, so no flowers on my card this time. Although, it was tempting to add some!
I might have mentioned before, these color challenges have become some of my favorite challenges to do. When I see a color challenge with five to six colors I always want to use every one of those colors, even when it would be easier to just choose a few. I didn't think I was going to use the Tempting Turquoise this time. Then I had to cover up a tiny drop of ink and the Tempting Turquoise dots from the 2022-2024 Classic Matte Dots came to the rescue!
I used my Stamparatus to make stamping the carrots super easy. To get the two shades for the carrots, stamp off once before stamping the base carrot, then stamp the shading without stamping off. I also stamped off once before stamping each of the leaves.
The sentiment inside the card is from Shaded Summer stamps, which is one of my favorite sets. The images in that one are fabulous, but the sentiments are perfection.
