Today's fun Christmas card, featuring Stampin' Up!'s All Bundled Up stamp set, was inspired by Sketch Challenge PP614 from the Paper Players. This is another great sketch that has endless possibilities!
One of the best things about sketches is that they are just a starting point, you can adjust them as you like.
I colored this happy moose with Soft Suede Stampin' Blends and Pool Party Stampin' Blends. I love that for most images you really don't need a lot of Stampin' Blends colors to color beautifully. Just add and combine the light and dark blends in different ways to make subtly different colors.
Can you spot my oops in the card above? I accidentally grabbed a Balmy Blue Card Base instead of Pool Party. OOPS! I didn't realize it until I was editing this picture...is it super obvious?
I couldn't resist adding another bird & sentiment inside the card. I used my Light Pool Party Stampin' Blend and Light Soft Suede Stampin' Blend.

Adorable, Judith! It's such a happy holiday card. This little moose brings a smile to my face every time I see him. I didn't notice your "oops" at all. In fact, I rather like the Balmy Blue card base. It adds a bit of contrast. I LOVE the rhinestones. I bet they really sparkle in real life. Thank you for playing at The Paper Players this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann! I'm glad my oopsie wasn't a big deal (I need to stop telling on myself. lol)
DeleteI'm with Ann, Judith, I think the Balmy Blue card base blends well, especially with the DP and I like the depth it adds overall. Your moose is so cute and sure to bring a smile! Thanks so much for joining us at The Paper Players with your great design.
ReplyDeleteThank you Cindy! I appreciate your kind comment. ALWAYS glad to bring a smile :)
