Stampin' Up! Amazing Phrasing with Color & Contour

 

MEASUREMENTS

Card Base ~ Mint Macaron Cardstock ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"

Layer 1 ~ Mint Macaron Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"

Layer 2 ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 3" x 4"

Scrap of Basic White Cardstock for the flower

• Emboss Layer 1 with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  Wrap Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the lower portion and tie a faux bow (a.k.a. double knot).  
• Use a Blending Brush to add a touch of Mint Macaron ink to the center of Layer 2, as pictured above. 
• Color right on your flower stamp with Stampin' Write MARKERS.  After stamping on your scrap of Basic White Cardstock, use Blending Brushes to color in the flowers and leaves.  Use the coordinating die from Scalloped Contours Dies to cut out the flower. 
• Stamp 'Hey' on Layer 2 with Evening Evergreen ink.  Then, stamp 'good lookin' under it with Polished Pink
• Adhere Liquid Glue to the back of Layer 1, center on the Card Base.  (Make sure your 'faux bow' is positioned where you want it first)
• Place Stampin' Dimensionals behind the flowers and apply a bit of Liquid Glue to the bottom leaf and lower part of the stem.  Attach the flower to Layer 2, as shown.  
• Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach Layer 2 to Layer 1. 
• Finish by adding a few Iridescent Rhinestones.
