Stampin' Up! Shaded Summer ~ Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop

As part of our training, Kylie & Bruno challenge us each month to create thank you cards for our customers and team members. This is one of my favorite things about their training. Mostly because I think it is incredibly important to say thank you, especially to our customers & team members. But also because I love being inspired by all the other creative demonstrators in this blog hop!
My customer thank you card this month features Stampin' Up!'s Shaded Summer stamp set. This pretty floral set is one of my favorites! While you can certainly stamp with a single color for some quick, simple and beautiful cards, I love using my Stampin' Write Markers to color directly on the stamps.
I used a die from the coordinating Summer Shadows Dies to cut out a matching floral image from the Stampin' Up!'s new Masking Paper. I then stuck the cut out on a piece of Basic White Cardstock before adding the colors for the background with Blending Brushes. From top to bottom I used Fresh Freesia, Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana & Sahara Sand. After applying the colors, I removed the Masking Paper and attached the flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals.
