OOPS! My plan this week was to spotlight Butterfly Brilliance stamp all week. Today's card I was just excited about butterflies...I used Brilliant Wings Dies, but forgot to use the coordinating Butterfly Brilliance stamp. Oh well, there's always tomorrow, right? In the meantime, I do love this card.
This layout is very easy and versatile, you can pretty much use any shape, stamps or Designer Series Paper. This Sun Prints DSP is perfect, with the contrasting stripes when the corner is folded down. (To fold that corner, all I did was figure out which stamp I was using so I knew how much room I needed. Then I just folded the corner down and gave it a nice crease with my bone folder)
I just realized what I should have done to make this a card using the Butterfly Brilliance stamps! I'm not going to remake it tonight, but maybe one day. Anyway, to use the stamps instead of the dies, just stamp the butterfly with versamark ink, then heat emboss with white embossing powder. Perfection!
