Stampin' Up! In the Moment

 

Hello!  Thanks for swinging by today.  Have you had a chance to sit, relax with a great mug of Hot Tea (or coffee, if that's your thing) and look through the new January-June 2022 Mini Catalog yet?  It's a pretty big one, full of inspiring stamp sets, like this In the Moment set.  I am loving finding different ways to use this set!  The images and the sentiments are spot on.

MEASUREMENTS

Card Base ~ Thick Basic White Cardstock ~ 4-1/4" x 11", score at 5-1/2"

Layer 1 ~ Night of Navy Cardstock ~ 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"

Layer 2 ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"

• Stamp just the top portion of the sentiment stamp on Layer 2 with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, as shown.
• Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the image in the center of Layer 2.  
• Lightly color the woman, her clothes, pillow and blanket with watercolor pencils.  Then, blend them just a bit with a Blender Pen.  
• Color the book, mug and dog with Stampin' Blends, to make them pop against those lighter colors.
• Stamp 'Relax' in Versamark on a scrap of Night of Navy Cardstock. Cover the word with White Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool.
• Fussy cut around 'relax'
• Adhere Layer 1 to the card base with Liquid Glue.  Then, adhere Layer 2 to Layer 1.
• Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to attach 'relax' to the front of the card, as shown.
