Happy New Year! It's hard to believe that today is January 1, 2022! This last year has flown by!
Do you know what else is flying by? The opportunity to purchase this gorgeous Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper. It is only available through January 3rd. When you have paper this elegant, it doesn't take much else to create a stunning card!
Today's card was completely inspired by this sketch from Simply Sketchin' Saturday. This is the very first sketch from this Facebook Challenge Group. I'm looking forward to many more! New sketches will be released every Saturday (well, depending on which side of the world you are on, for me, they are released on Friday, but I'll still wait until my Saturday to share my card most weeks.) To play along, simply ask to join the Facebook group, then post your card in the comment under the sketch you are using. I love this, because you can join the fun at any time!

- Stamp the sentiment on Layer 4 with Versamark. Then, heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder.
- Die cut the Gold Foil Sheet scrap with the small die from Painted Labels Dies, as shown above.
- Adhere Layer 1 the Card Base with Liquid Glue. Follow that with Layer 2 on Layer 1.
- Glue Layer 4 to Layer 3. Attach Layer 3 to Layer 2 with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Apply Liquid Glue to the back of the Gold piece before carefully sliding it slightly under Layer 3.
I had a left over scrap of the DSP, so I added it to the Inside Layer before gluing that to the inside of the card. (The strip measures 1/2" x 5-1/4")
I hope you like this card and are inspired to use some of your beautiful Designer Series Paper.
Don't forget to play along at Simply Sketchin' Saturday! We would love to see your creations, and you don't need a blog to play!
Happy Stamping!
