Stampin' Up! Holly Jolly Wishes Christmas Card

 

Stampin' Up!'s Holly Jolly Wishes Stamps make it easy to create cheerful Christmas cards.  This set is a sentiment only set and most of them are the perfect size to add as the focal point over a great background.  I find myself reaching for this set often as I am creating Christmas cards!

MEASUREMENTS

Card Base ~ Misty Moonlight Cardstock ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"

Layer 1 ~ Poppy Parade Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"

Layer 2 ~ Misty Moonlight Cardstock ~ 3-3/4" x 5"

Large Scrap of Poppy Parade

Large Scrap of Basic White Cardstock 

Inside Layer ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"

• Temporarily secure the snowflake mask over Layer 2 while using a Sponge Dauber and Whisper White Craft Ink to create a snowflake background. 
• Stamp the sentiment with Poppy Parade ink on the scrap of Basic White CS. 
• Use the largest die from Tasteful Label Dies to cut out a label with the scrap of Poppy Parade CS.  After die cutting the label, cut it in half with the Paper Trimmer. 
• Die cut the sentiment with the same Tasteful Label Die used in the previous step. 
• Attach the Poppy Parade label pieces behind the sentiment with Liquid Glue 
• Wrap a 4-1/4" piece of ribbon vertically across the center of Layer 2, securing the ends behind the CS with Glue Dots.  Repeat with a 5-1/2" piece of ribbon horizontally. 
• Adhere Layer 1 to the card front with Liquid Glue
• Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach Layer 2 to Layer 1
• Place the sentiment piece over the center of the card front, attaching it with Liquid Glue. 
• Finish the card front by attaching a few Subtle Shimmer Sequins around the sentiment, as shown. 

On the inside layer, use the snowflake mask again to add a few snowflakes across the top.  This time, use a blending brush and Misty Moonlight ink to add the snowflakes.  Adhere this piece to the inside of the card.
