Stampin' Up! Holly Jolly Wishes Quick Card

Welcome to my blog!  Thank you for stopping by.  If you need a quick Christmas card, this could be the card for you!  I used the snowflake folder from Wintry 3D Embossing Folders and Wonderful Snowflakes with the Holly Jolly stamp set to make this beautiful card.  The photos don't do this card justice. 

MEASUREMENTS

Card Base ~ Real Red Cardstock ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"

Layer 1 ~ Misty Moonlight Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"

Layer 2 ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 2-1/4" x 1-3/4"

Inside Layer ~ Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"

• Stamp the sentiment in the center of Layer 2 with Misty Moonlight ink
• Use the snowflake embossing folder from Wintry 3D Embossing Folders to emboss Layer 1.  This is a smaller embossing folder, so you will have to use it twice, embossing the long edges .  
• Cut out the sentiment with a die from Tasteful Labels Dies.
• Place a piece of ribbon over the 'seam' near the center of Layer 1, where the embossing folder overlapped.  Attach the ends of the ribbon behind Layer 1 with Glue Dots. 
• Attach Layer 1 to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Use Glue Dots to attach two Wonderful Snowflakes over the ribbon, as shown. 
• In the center of the card front, use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the sentiment over the ribbon and parts of the snowflakes.  

For the Inside Layer, if desired, use the snowflake embossing folder to emboss just the top edge of the Basic White CS.  Then, very lightly, go over the embossed image with a Sponge Dauber and Misty Moonlight ink.  Stamp the sentiment under the embossed images. Use your favorite adhesive to attach this layer to the inside of the card.
