Last week I had a day when I just wanted to created backgrounds with Stampin' Blends and 99% Isopropyl Alcohol. I ended up using my Brilliant Wings Dies to cut out a couple of the smaller pieces. Then, I used the same die set to add some detail to the butterflies. I kept them on my desk until today.
They are so pretty as they are, I didn't want to put them on a card with a lot going on. So, I decided to add just one simple 'hello' stamp from Biggest Wish and a few Matte Black Dots.
During On Stage today I learned that we can ink our stamps with Versamark and then a color ink before stamping. Once stamped, quickly sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat set. That's exactly what I did for this 'hello', using Bermuda Bay ink to match the butterfly.
This smaller butterfly is from that same day of playing with alcohol ink backgrounds. I decided it was all the inside of the card really needed.
I'm really into clean & simple cards lately. I hope you like this one as much as I do. :)
