Stampin' Up! Shaded Summer Birthday Card

 

Summer Shadows Dies were designed to use with Stampin' Up!'s Shaded Summer Stamp Set.  These two items make stamping and cutting beautiful flowers a breeze.  The stamp set is available for purchase from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog.  Summer Shadows Dies are only available as a FREE item with a qualifying purchase during Sale-a-bration, which ends at the end of September!  

MEASUREMENTS

Pale Papaya Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"

2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper ~ 5-1/2" x 4"

Pale Papaya Cardstock ~ 3-1/2" x 1-1/2"

Basic White Cardstock ~ at least 3-1/2" x 2-3/4"  and a 4" x 5-1/2" piece for inside

• Stamp the flowers using Versamark ink on a piece of Basic White CS.  Cover with Black Embossing Powder, tap off the excess, then set with the Heat Tool
• Use the coordinating Summer Shadows Die to cut out the flower with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
• While you have the SC&E Machine out, cut a Pale Papaya rectangle with the Stitched Rectangle Dies
• Use Tuxedo Black Memento ink to stamp 'Happy birthday' on the right side of the Pale Papaya rectangle 
• Attach a 3-1/4" piece of Pale Papaya Ribbon to the bottom of the stitched rectangle with Tear & Tape
• Adhere the DSP to the front of the card base using your favorite adhesive
• Use Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the stitched rectangle to attach it to the DSP
• Add 3 Stampin' Dimensionals to the top of the flowers and Liquid Glue on the bottom flower and a little down the stem before attaching it to the card front, as shown. 
• Place a few sequins to the front of your card with Liquid Glue. 
• Add the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White Cardstock to the inside of your card.
