This Christmas card combines the beautiful Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper with Perfect Plaid stamps. This 'Merry Christmas' stamp is one of my favorites. It is a great size and gorgeous font!
Today's card was inspired by Sketch #677 from Sketch Saturday. This is the first day of the challenge, so you have a week to play with this one, if you would like to join the fun!
MEASUREMENTS
Polished Pink Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"
Polished Pink Layer ~ 4" x 5-1/4"
Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper ~ 1/2" x 5-1/4", 1" x 2-1/2" (*4)
Misty Moonlight Cardstock ~ 3" x 2"
Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4" (inside)
- Use your favorite adhesive to adhere the long strip of DSP to the Polished Pink layer, approximately 3/4" from the bottom. Then, adhere the 4 shorter strips of DSP, as shown.
- Attach the Polished Pink layer to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Tie a small bow, then use 1/2 a Glue Dot to attach it to the front of the card.
- Stamp 'Merry Christmas' with Versamark on the Misty Moonlight CS - Cover it with Silver Embossing Powder - Tap off the excess - Then set with the Heat Tool
- Use the Double Oval Punch to punch around 'Merry Christmas'. Then, attach it to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
For the inside of the card, on the Basic White CS, add a light layer of Misty Moonlight ink with a Blending Brush. Then, stamp the sentiment over it, also with Misty Moonlight ink. Adhere it to the inside of your card.
