Stampin' Up! Penguin Place card

 

This card requires very little stamping.  Instead, it uses some awesome paper from Stampin' Up!  The bear, the background piece and the fox on the inside are all from Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper, which is a Sale-a-bration item and only available through the end of September.  I wish I could show you, in person, the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper, also a Sale-a-bration item.  It is so much prettier in person than any picture I have seen of it.  It is, dare I say, Dazzling!  

MEASUREMENTS

Fresh Freesia Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"

Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper ~ 4" x 5-1/4", fussy cut a polar bear and a fox

Misty Moonlight Cardstock ~ 3" x 3", 1/2" x 3"

Be Dazzling Specialty Paper ~ 3" x 3", 3/4" x 3-1/4"

Fresh Freesia Cardstock ~ scrap

Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4" (inside)

• Stamp 'I like you a lottle' on the scrap of Fresh Freesia, using Misty Moonlight ink.  Then, trim around the sentiment. 
• Use Versamark to stamp 'It's like a little except a lot' towards the right of the small strip of Misty Moonlight.  Cover with White Embossing Powder, tap of the excess, then set with the Heat Tool.
• Use the Banners Pick a Punch to punch a banner on the left side of the Misty Moonlight strip and one side of the Be Dazzling strip.
• Use the Layering Circles Dies to cut out a scalloped circle from the Misty Moonlight CS and a slightly smaller smooth circle from the Be Dazzling Paper. Glue the Be Dazzling Circle to the Misty Moonlight Circle
• Glue the DSP layer to the front of the Card Base. 
• Glue the circles to the DSP layer.
• Use Stampin' Dimensionals (or Mini Dimensionals) to attach the bear to the circle, as shown. Then use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to attach 'I like you a lottle' to the bear. 
• Glue the Be Dazzling Banner to the front of the card.  Then, use Dimensionals to attach the Misty Moonlight Banner over it. 

For the inside, attach a piece of Basic White CS.  Then, add a fox (or other critter) to the corner, as shown.  I think this would make a fabulous birthday card, so you could also stamp 'Happy Birthday' inside the card, if desired.
