Stampin' Up! Delicate Dahlias

 

I am loving the color combination on this card.  Unfortunately, I was having issues with my camera and didn't get pictures that really show how pretty this card is in person.  Two of the stamp sets used to create this card, Textures & Frames and Delicate Dahlias, are only available FREE (with qualifying purchase) during Sale-a-bration, which ends in two weeks!  

MEASUREMENTS

Magenta Madness Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"

Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4" (*2)

Magenta Madness ~ 1" x 2-1/2"

• Stamp the large flower outline with Gorgeous Grape ink on the corner of the Basic White CS.
• Use Highland Heather ink to stamp the inside of the flower.  
• Cover the flower with a Post It, or scrap of paper.  Then, use a Water Painter and Magenta Madness ink to splatter a touch of ink across the Basic White CS.  
• Use the ink splatter stamp from Textures & Frames to add a few more ink splats, stamping off once before stamping. 
• Use Tear & Tape to attach a 2-3/4" piece of ribbon to the white layer, as shown.
• Attach the Basic White CS to the front of your card base.  
• On the strip of Magenta Madness CS, stamp your sentiment with Versamark.  Cover the stamped image with Embossing Powder, tap of the excess, the set with the Heat Tool.  Keep to the right of the CS when stamping, so you will have plenty of room to punch the other end. 
• Use Banners Pick a Punch to punch the left side of the sentiment strip. 
• Attach the sentiment strip over the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Stamp off once before stamping the ink splat stamp in the corner of the Basic White CS for the inside of the card.  Once you have added all you want, adhere this piece to the inside of the card.
