Stampin' Up! Penguin Place - Card from the Catalog

 

It's Friday!  That means it's time for another Card From the Catalog!  The Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper is so adorable, I couldn't resist sharing one last card from the Sale-a-bration brochure (p. 5) featuring it!  We have less than two weeks of SAB remaining, so if you love this DSP as much as I do, don't miss your chance to snatch it up FREE!

MEASUREMENTS

Fresh Freesia Cardstock ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"

Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper ~ 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" and bear, fox and penguin fussy cut

Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4" (inside), and a small scrap

Misty Moonlight Cardstock ~ scraps (2)

• Adhere the DSP strip to the front of your card, approximately 1/4" inch from the bottom.
• Stamp the snow in Fresh Freesia around where the animals will be.  
• Stamp the bow on the Penguin using Fresh Freesia ink
• Adhere the animals to the front of the card as shown.  The Bear and Penguin were attached with Liquid Glue, the Fox with Stampin' Dimensionals.
• Use Just Jade ink to stamp the hat on a scrap of Basic White CS.  Fussy cut around the hat, then glue it over the bear's ear.
• Stamp the sentiment with Versamark, cover with White Embossing Powder, tap off the excess, then set with the heat tool
• Use the Messages Die to cut out the sentiment.  Then, cut out a 2nd (blank) banner with it. 
• Glue the blank banner to the card, as shown.  Then, cut the banner edges off of the sentiment banner.  Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the sentiment on the 1st banner. 
• Attach the sequins to the front of the card. 

Stamp a few snowflakes down the edge of the 4" piece of Basic White Cardstock.  Then, adhere that piece to the inside of the card.
