Sweet as a Peach Pocket Card

Hi!  Thanks for swinging by my blog.  If you watched my YouTube video on making this card, you know it is a pocket card based on a card I made for a card class several years ago.  (You can see the original card in my video...there's a link at the bottom of this post)

MEASUREMENTS
Pale Papaya Card Base ~ 4-1/4" x 11", score at 1-1/4" and 5-1/2"
You're a Peach Designer Series Paper ~ 4" x 3-1/4" and 4" x 1"
Balmy Blue Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4"
Basic White Cardstock ~ scraps for the peach, leaves and flower

  • Fold the Card Base on the scored lines.  Be sure to fold the top portion out, not in.
  • Glue the dotted DSP on the bottom part of the Card Base, the top of the DSP should be hidden by the flap.
  • Glue the smaller strip of DSP to the flap on the Card Base.
  • Tie the ribbon around the card and tie in front, as shown.  OR, you can follow the instructions in the video and cut your Balmy Blue CS a little narrower.
  • Stamp the peach, leaves and flower on the Basic White CS.
  • Stamp 'Happy Birthday' on the top of the Balmy Blue CS, leaving room for the flower.
  • Put the peach together, using a Liquid Glue, then attach it to the flap on the the Card Base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Glue the flower to the Balmy Blue CS, as shown.  OPTIONAL: add a 2021-2023 In Color Jewel to the center of the flower.

Stamp a peach on the front of the envelope (as shown in the photo below).
Cut a piece of the DSP to 2-1/4" x 6", then glue it to the envelope flap and use Paper Snips to trim off the excess.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Please contact me if you have any questions, for a catalog (if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in the USA), or to Join!  You can also click the link at the top of my blog to sign up for my newsletter.

At the bottom of this post there is a clickable list of products used.  Also, if you would like to see a video of how to make this card, click the picture below to head over to my YouTube Channel.  It's a little blurry at the beginning, but it clears up some once I start actually making the card.

Happy Stamping!
