Stampin' Up! Thank You Cards - Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop!  We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration.  We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set.  We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

Each month Kylie and Bruno encourage us to create 'Thank You' cards for all of our amazing customers who place orders during the month.  I love doing this and look forward to sending these cards out!  This month, I'm using the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper combined with the Sunny Sentiments stamps to create my cards.  Stampin' Up!'s DSP is printed on both sides, for this card I used both sides of the same piece of DSP.

Mondays on my blog are set aside for masculine cards, so I'm also sharing with you a 'Thank You' card that could work for the men in your life.  See how easy it is to switch up a card?  You could also change the sentiment on either one of these to make a fast birthday card!

MEASUREMENTS
Night of Navy/Flirty Flamingo Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"
Mossy Meadow/Granny Apple Green Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4" and 1" x 3"
Beauty of the Earth/Pattern Party DSP ~ 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
Basic White Cardstock ~ 1-/4" x 3-1/4" and 4" x 5-1/4" (inside)
Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon ~ 6-1/4"
White Ribbon from Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Pack ~ 6-1/4"

  • Stamp 'Thank You' on the Basic White Cardstock using Mossy Meadow or Granny Apple Green Ink
  • Use coordinating Stampin' Blends to color the ribbon.
  • Use one of the dies from Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the 'thank you'.  Line up the bottom of the die so it is just under the bottom of the words.  I used a piece of washi tape to hold the die in place while I ran it through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

  • Cut 1 inch off the left side of the Designer Series Paper.  Flip it over.  Then attach both pieces to the 4" x 5-1/4 Mossy Meadow/Granny Apple Green CS.
  • Place the larger ribbon over the seam on the front of the card, secure the ends behind the cardstock with Glue Dots.  Repeat with the smaller ribbon.
  • Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the top layer to the card base.
  • Attach the white die cut piece to the 1" x 3" Mossy Meadow/Granny Apple Green CS.  Then attach that to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • OPTIONAL: Add a small bird or Opal Round (colored with a Stampin' Blend) to the front of the card, as shown.
  • Attach the 4" Basic White CS to the inside of the card for a lighter piece to write on.  You can add a narrow strip of the DSP to the side of the white cardstock, if desired.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Please contact me if you have any questions, for a catalog (if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and live in the USA), or to Join!  You can also click the link at the top of my blog to sign up for my newsletter.
