Stampin' Up! Dragonfly Garden Birthday Card

Hello and welcome to my blog, where I love to share a new card and all the details you need to recreate it, almost every day!  I hope you like today's card as much as I do.  The colors used on this card are some of my very favorites, but if you don't like them as much as me, feel free to use your favorite colors!

MEASUREMENTS

Coastal Cabana Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"

Basic Black Cardstock ~ 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"

Basic White Cardstock ~ 4" x 5-1/4" (*2)

printer paper ~ approximately 5-1/2" x 5-1/2"

• Die cut your background shape on the center of a piece of printer paper, approximately 5-1/2" x 5-1/2"
• Center the empty space from your die cut paper over your Basic White CS on your Stamparatus.  Hold down the cardstock and printer paper with the included magnets. 
• Use a Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana ink to the top and bottom of the die cut space, being careful not to shift anything.  Also, add a bit of Coastal Cabana ink to the bottom right corner of the other piece of Basic White Cardstock (this is for the inside of your card, see the 2nd picture below)
• Use a Blending Brush to add Gorgeous Grape ink to the center of the die cut space.  Again, be careful not to shift anything. 
• Remove the printer paper and throw away or set aside for later use.

• Using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamp the Dragonfly and the sentiment over the blended background, as shown.  
• Attach all the layers using your favorite adhesive. 

• Using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamp the small dragonflies to the bottom corner of the Basic White CS, over the Coastal Cabana ink. 
• Attach the Basic White CS to the inside of your card.
