Stampin' Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

 

Hi!  Welcome to my blog, where I love to share fun and easy cards you can make!  As always, there's a clickable supply list at the bottom of this post.  

MEASUREMENTS

Basic Black Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"

Garden Green Cardstock ~ 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"

Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper ~ 1-3/8" x 4" (*3)

Pale Papaya Cardstock ~ 3-1/8" x 1-3/8"

Basic White Cardstock ~ 3" x 1-1/2", 4" x 5-1/4" (inside)

Basic Black Cardstock ~ 3-3/4" x 2-3/4" (for the butterfly)

• Stamp 'Happy' using Pale Papaya ink.  Then stamp 'birthday' using Garden Green ink, layering it slightly over 'Happy'
• Use the Brilliant Wings Dies to cut out the large butterfly
• Use your favorite adhesive to attach the cardstock layers.  
• Use Black Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the butterfly
• Add Basic Pearls to the center of the butterfly.

For the inside, add the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White CS.  You can also add a strip of DSP to the bottom of the white cs.  The DSP strip I added is 3/4" x 5-1/4".  (This is a great way to use up leftover pieces of coordinating cardstock...I hate throwing away any of my beautiful cardstock!)
