Happy Friday! Today I am once again sharing two of my all-time favorite stamp sets... 'hey chick' and 'hey birthday chick'. For this card, I have also added one of my favorite Designer Series Paper sets, Sweet Ice Cream DSP. I just love how we can mix and match elements from different suites, don't you!?
MEASUREMENTS
Bermuda Bay Card Base ~ 8-1/2" x 5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
DSP ~ 3-1/2" 5-3/8"
Basic White Cardstock ~ 5" x 2" and 4" x 5-1/4" (inside)
1. Stamp 5 eggs in a row with Memento ink. Then, stamp the hatching chick and 'happy birthday'
2. Color the eggs and chick. (I used blends)
3. Tie a bit of twine around the top of the DSP
4. Attach the DSP to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals
5. Attach the Basic White CS (stamped with eggs and a chick) to the top of the DSP with your favorite adhesive (I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue)
For the inside, I stamped one of the chickens and colored her with blends.
Then I stamped a sentiment. Doesn't she make the inside fun!?
As you may know, the Hey Birthday Chick set and coordinating dies carried over to the new catalog. However, the Hey Chick set and coordinating dies are set to retire at the end of June. If you have been wanting this set, or the dies, don't wait!
