Stampin' Up! Wildly Happy Card

 Hi there!  So I have been realizing this week how much the weather is influencing my card making.  Tuesday and Wednesday were warm and sunny...I made cards using Stampin' Up!'s Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set.  Today turned chilly, windy, cloudy and gray.  I ended up choosing Basic Gray as the main color on the card I made today.  Coincidence?  Maybe. 

Coincidence or not, I love how this sweet card turned out!  As I often do, I started creating today with a challenge from another blog.  This time, Sketch 410 from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge inspired my layout.  

To attach the twine, put a Mini Glue Dot on either side of the back of the Blushing Bride cardstock.  Then cut two pieces of twine approx. 6-1/2" long and attach the ends to the glue dots on the back of the cardstock.  (You should be able to attach up to 3 pieces of twine to one glue dot)  

I used Stitched Rectangles Dies and Stitched Shapes Dies to cut out the sentiment and the animals.  Don't have these dies?  You can also cut them out with your Paper Trimmer. 

The inside of the card and the front of the envelope were stamped with the elephants.  I felt like they needed to be used somewhere!

Do you like these smaller slimline cards?  I love them!  Here's the envelopes I use when making cards this size.  I bought these at Target, but I'm sure you can pick up similar ones at most places that sell envelopes.

Basic Gray Card Base - 6-1/4" x 6-1/2", scored at 3-1/4"

Blushing Bride Card Front - 6" x 3"

Stitched Squares - approx. 1-5/8" x 1-5/8"

Sentiment - 2-1/4" x 7/8"  (There actually isn't a die this exact size.  I ran it halfway through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine, then adjust the die - to make it smaller- and ran it through again)
