Hi.
This. Card.
I love this card.
I don't want to have to use this card.
It's important to have sympathy cards on hand, but I don't want to have to use it because I don't want any of my people to be sad.
I especially don't want to lose any of my people.
However, I am glad to have it ready, and I am thrilled it is so beautiful!
- Cut Basic White card base to 8-1/2"x5-1/2", score at 4-1/4"
- Cut Basic White card front to 4"x5-1/4"
- Stamp the butterflies (Super easy with the stamparatus) on a piece of Basic White Cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black. If using the stamparatus, you might want to stamp it twice so it's nice and dark.
- Using Blending Brushes with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Bermuda Bay - add some color the the card front.
- Stamp the sentiment on a piece of Basic White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black.
- Use the Layering Circle Dies to cut around your sentiment. And cut a Bermuda Bay circle to layer behind the sentiment.
- Using Blends (Daffodil Delight - Light & Dark, Bermuda Bay - Light and Pumpkin Pie - Light) color the butterflies. Then, use the large Brilliant Wings Die to cut them all out at once.
- Use Stampin' Seal or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to attach the larger butterflies to the card front.
- Wrap the white twine around the card front and tie a bow
- The right wing of the smaller blue butterfly is tucked under the twine and attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The left wing (same butterfly) is attached with a Stampin' Dimensional.
- Using Stampin' Dimensionals, attach the sentiment to the card front, over the twine.
- Then, attach the left wing of the smallest butterfly to the sentiment circle with Liquid Glue and the right wing to the card front with a Dimensional.
- Attach the card front to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Finish with Basic Pearls scattered on the card.
For the inside of the card, I chose to add another sentiment. Then, I added a splash of color using a Blending Brush and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Pad.
I hope you like this card as much as I do. If you decide to make it, I hope it is for something happy like a birthday or new baby! (Change the sentiments, of course! 😉)
Happy Stamping!
