Stampin' Up! Butterfly Birthday Card

 

Hi!  Today I want to share another five minute card that shows of the beauty of the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper.  This DSP makes creating amazing cards fast and easy! 

First, I cut my chosen piece of DSP down to 5-1/4"x4".  Then, I used a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker and a Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Marker to color the sentiment ON the rubber stamp.  After stamping the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock, I used a Paper Trimmer to trim around it.  The end result was a 3"x3-1/4" piece of Basic White Cardstock with a beautiful sentiment on it. 

I once again used a leftover piece of DSP from the front to add a decorative strip to the side of the inside piece.  This is such a fast and easy way to spruce up the inside of my card.
