Butterfly Thank You for Kylies' International Blog Highlights - March 2021

Hi!  Welcome to my blog, and thanks for stopping by!  I made today's card for Kylie's International Blog Highlights.  Demonstrators from around the world take part to share what they have been creating.  This is my first time to join the fun!  You can participate too, by voting on your top five favorite cards from this months Highlights Gallery!  Simply click here, or on the round button at the bottom of this post, to go the the Highlights Gallery.  To vote, click on the heart in the top right side of the photo of the cards you like.

It's important to remember to always say "Thank You" and show our appreciation for kindness, big or small, from others.  So, that's what this month's is all about...saying thank you.

I chose to use the new Brilliant Wings Dies as the starting point for this card.  The background piece is from the Butterfly Bijou 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper that coordinates so perfectly with this set.  For the circle behind the butterfly, I used Stampin' Up!'s amazing Blender Brushes to blend Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Magenta Madness.  The banners along the bottom were made using the Banners Pick a Punch.

To attach the intricate butterfly layer to the more solid base butterfly, I used a piece of a Stampin' Sponge to dab Multipurpose Liquid Glue from my Silicone Craft Mat on the back of the intricate piece.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and are inspired to create something wonderful soon!  Don't forget to vote for your favorite cards.
Happy Stamping!
