I decided to pull out my Paper Pumpkin January 2021 Kit one more time today for a Valentine's Day card. As I've mentioned previously, I don't typically purchase the Valentine themed stamped sets, so this Paper Pumpkin kit has come in handy. Just one more reason to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin.
The layout for this card was inspired by this challenge sketch from Try Stampin On Tuesday. This sketch is perfect for Valentine's Day and January's Paper Pumpkin kit made it so easy to put together!
- Basic Black Card Base 8-1/2"x5-1/2", scored at 4-1/4"
- Petal Pink background cut to 4-1/8"x5-3/8"
- Poppy Parade Strip cut to 4-1/8"x1-3/4"
- Basic White piece cut to 4-1/8"x2-3/4"
- Stamp the inside of the heart, then fussy cut around the gold outline
- Stamp the sentiment
- Attach the layers using Stampin' Seal or Multipurpose Liquid Glue on everything except the heart
- Attach the heart with Stampin' Dimensionals
- Add the Matte Black Dots
- Add a 5-1/4"x4" piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside, stamped or not.
It's too late to get the Paper Pumpkin kit for January & February, but now is a great time to subscribe to get the March Paper Pumpkin kit. Did you know that in every kit you get a stamp set that can be used over and over again? You also get a mini ink pad (we call it a Stampin' Spot). This is a great way to build up a supply of ink pads and stamps! The March kit also includes four stencils and a stamping sponge!
I hope you are inspired to be creative today. Happy Stamping!
