As I was blending and thinking about what I wanted to do next, I started thinking about how the Old World Paper Embossing Folder might look a bit like waves if I embossed it on a piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock, then added a bit of Night of Navy to the high spots with my blending brush. Didn't it turn out great!?
The boat was stamped on a scrap of vellum with Early Espresso ink. I then covered the image in Clear Embossing Powder and after tapping off the excess, set it with my heat tool. Once it was set, I colored it in with my Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. Dark for the base of the boat, and light for the sails.
The embossed background, anchor and strip of DSP were attached with Mulitpurpose Liquid Glue. The boat was attached with a small amount of Fine-Tip Glue Pen glue, and the small background piece was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Of course, I had to add a little stamping to the inside of the card, too.
