Once I started making slimline cards this weekend, I didn't want to stop!!
When I had the idea for this card, I couldn't decide which side of the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper I wanted to use. It didn't take long for me to realize I should make two cards so I could use both sides!
Be careful when cutting this DSP, so the lines on this side of the DSP aren't totally crooked. The cat on this one 👆 was colored with the light Basic Black Stampin' Blend. The hearts were colored with a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker, then fussy cut with Paper Snips and attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Card Base - 6 1/4"x6 1/2", scored at 3 1/4"
DSP Layer - 3"x6"
Banner (red layer) - 2 3/4"x1" (before punching)
Banner (white layer*) - 2 1/2"x3/4" (before punching)
*TIP: stamp the sentiment on a small piece of Basic White Cardstock before cutting and punching. Once you have stamped the image, you can use your Paper Trimmer to straighten the image as you trim it to the correct size, then punch.
Sale-A-Bration is still happening! For every $50 you spend on Stampin' Up! products, you can choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration item! Don't wait, order today! (While supplies last)
I hope my cards inspired you to create something wonderful today! Happy stamping!
