The card I am sharing with you today is the thank you card I have created to send to all of my customers who place an order this month. I love sending thank you cards and this one is darling!
I have been seeing slimline cards all over the internet recently and finally decided to try my hand at one. I think the usual dimensions for a slimline card are around 8 1/2"x 3 1/2", or something similar, to fit in a #9 or #10 business envelope. I don't have envelopes that size, but I do have plenty of press and seal envelopes that measure 3 5/8"x 6 1/2". So, my cards measure 6 -14"x3 1/4". In my opinion this is a perfect measurement because I can cut a piece of 6"x6" designer series paper in half to use as the card fronts for two cards! Or, I get 8 card fronts from a piece of 12"x12" paper.
The little butterflies are from Stampin' Up!'s Pampered Pets stamp set. I colored them with Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. Then, I went over them with a little bit of Wink of Stella to make them sparkle. Once they were dry, I fussy cut them (and the donkey) with Paper Snips.
The sentiment was cut out with a die from the Potted Succulents Dies set. I put it halfway through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, then took it out and adjusted the die to make it cut a shorter banner.
This card uses several Sale-A-Bration items! Place an order soon so you don't miss out on all of these great, limited time products! (Available until February 28, 2021 or while supplies last)
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
