Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. This card uses the Tasteful Touches Bundle and In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. My favorite thing about these products is how well they go with just about everything! I especially use the Tasteful Labels Dies with a wide variety of stamp sets.
The first step to making this card is to stamp the feathers on Basic White Cardstock in Petal Pink, Smoky Slate and Night of Navy. Then, using a Whisper White Craft Ink Pad, stamp your sentiment on a scrap of Night of Navy Cardstock.
While the ink is drying, cut a piece of the designer series paper to 6"X3" and a scrap of Basic White to 1"X1-1/8". The Night of Navy card base should be cut to 6-1/4"X6-1/2" and scored at 3-1/4". Using one of the dies, cut out a label in vellum. Before removing the die from the vellum, use a bone folder or stylus (the one from the Simply Scoring Tool is perfect for this) to trace around the inside edge of the die on the vellum. This will give your cut out piece a little more depth.
Now, fussy cut around each feather with Paper Snips. You can also tie a small bow with Night of Navy twine from at this time.
Once all of your pieces are ready, attach the designer series paper with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (or Stampin' Seal). Then, attach the feathers to the vellum label and the sentiment to the Basic White rectangle. The vellum label and the sentiment can then be attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. The bow can be added last, with a mini glue dot.
I recommend gluing a 6"X3" piece of Basic White Cardstock to the inside of the card. You can choose to stamp an image before attaching it.
I hope you are inspired to be creative today. Happy Stamping!
